MEET ALEX
Wielding a treasure trove of business intel and charm, Alex Comsa is a breath of fresh air in the Palo Alto locale. A high-achieving real estate professional, a small business owner, and a resident of Palo Alto since 2010, he has a wealth of local knowledge to benefit our community. Before his real estate career, Alex spent a decade or so working for various startups and small businesses, where he wore multiple hats, mainly in Operations, Finance, and Marketing roles. Alex is trustworthy, competent, collaborative, and committed.
Born in Transylvania, in the heart of Romania, Alex was raised by his mom as his dad passed away when he was just in first grade. With that, Alex learned from a young age that to achieve success, you must set high goals, treat others with respect and do what you know in your heart is right. Under these principles, with his keen ability to relate to others and friendly personality, Alex has earned an untarnished reputation among neighbors, friends, community members, clients, and peers alike.
As a parent of two teenagers, Alex loves being involved with them and their sports hobbies. He has been an active participant in the Palo Alto School System and coached his kids’ soccer teams at AYSO for many years, carrying on his father’s tradition. As an avid athlete and highly engaged in health and wellness practices, Alex has been involved in sports all his life: swimming and competitive soccer as a teenager, tennis, golf, snowboarding, basketball, and indoor cycling. Alex and his kids enjoy attending local sports events, mainly Warriors, Earthquakes, and Stanford games.
Alex loves Palo Alto. He loves the town’s character, the people, the downtown, the farmers’ markets, the proximity to Stanford, the tennis courts, the soccer fields, the parks, and all recreational activities, as all of us who live here cherish Palo Alto’s colorful nature, its beauty and its diversity. He believes that his accessibility, skills, work ethic, grasp of the issues, common sense, and level of preparation would contribute to our community decisions. His goals would be smart housing, economic recovery and support,, health and safety, climate change, ensuring the values of equality and inclusion, enhancing the quality of life for residents, and creating a new sense of community in our world-class city. He is running for City Council because there is so much more we can do as a community to keep us on the path of progress.
